Account termination

ChessFog does not delete accounts through this website. To meet Google Play requirements, we provide these instructions. You delete your account inside the ChessFog app from the About & Forum & Support tab (see below).

How to terminate your account

  1. Open the ChessFog app on your device (install from Google Play if needed) and sign in.
  2. In the top tab bar, open About & Forum & Support (available after sign-in from the main app screens).
  3. Scroll to the bottom of that page to the Account section.
  4. Tap Permanently remove this account.
  5. A confirmation dialog appears: “Warning: this will remove the user from Chessfog?” Read it carefully.
  6. Tap Cancel to return to the app with no changes, or Proceed to confirm permanent deletion.
  7. If you choose Proceed, your account is removed from our systems and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the app, contact support through the channels listed in the app (for example the same About & Forum & Support area, or other support options we provide) so we can help after verifying your identity.
